EU - In 2012, raw milk output is expected to increase by one per cent. The slower pace of increase in 2012 as compared to 2011 stems from lower domestic demand for dairy products accompanied by instability in the international dairy market at this year’s outset, according to the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.
Survey of Flemish Milk Production Underway

BELGIUM - This April the Flemish Ministry of Agriculture conducted a survey among dairy farmers and milk processors with the aim of developing strategies for the future configuration of the dairy market based on the results. More than 70 per cent of the Flemish dairy farmers were sent the survey.
